The point here is that she doesn't need the same promo strategy she used with Born This Way. Remember, in 201 she released the record and immediately flew away to Japan, Asia and Europe, leaving The Edge of Glory on the airwaves without the support it needed to go No.1 Now it's 98% safe to say she can guarantee herself a No.1 album during first week without being on every channel and talk show. I even think she could let the record chart for 2 weeks without intense promo, and then come up with Saturday Night Live or another major event. The idea is: why should she sell 1,000,000 copies during 1 week, when she can sell like 400,000 at once and then like 170,000 each week for a month?It would make the record kinda more solid and add that longevity. She could release the single in late March, and the record in late April. Would be nice. At least when we get the release date, it would be easier to wait.
