JoshuaMonroe 0 Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 My personal suspicion is that BTW Was terminated after MTN not only because BTW might have been running out of steam, but also because it was going into the heavy dance tracks, and there is a good possibility IMO that the next album is a continuation of that particular direction. They may have decided to hold off and begin a heavy electronic dance era with a new album instead of using the songs off BTW. I'm sure the new album was substantially demo'd at that point and they knew the timeframe for it, and decided that new investment would make more sense for it rather than continuing BTW. Could be. Or maybe they just realized that they had to stop the BTW era earlier so they could release the new album faster. Had they released 9 or 10 singles, we probably would've had the 7-9th single by now (maybe not even) and the new album would've been delayed to Q2 or Q3 even of 2013. (Remeber the "Interscope kills MTN Thread") that's why the perfume video is to Scheisee now and not Goverment Hooker (Remember when Gaga said GH wouldn't be a single but it would have a video) Gaga wants to make a video for Schisse one way or another so thus she's using the perfume. The fact that it stopped after the fifth single shows that she already had new material and a release could be imminent. The label takes into account the fact that the public needs a break from Gaga before she returns. Besides, I'm sure it was also because of the BTWB that they stopped the singles as she couldn't attend anymore tv shows while in Asia/Oceania. It's coming really soon. How do we know that? I'm sure a fight with the label couldnt' have been the origin of that. Frankly I think it's bs that the label would just quit everything just because of an argument as to which singles would be released in what order. If they predicted a 9-10 single release, it means all the song Gaga wanted would've been released anyway. Unless I see receipts, I'm not believing that. As for the Scheisse video, it won't be that much of a music video as it has commercial/marketing/promotional goals and a real music video wouldn't cut that.
