Ok sorry I fail to understand why you're confused... The UK (all of it) is one of the largest music markets in the World ... never mind just in Europe, the UK was one of the first countries to play Gaga's music on the radio. How is fair to have 2 dates in the capital when the country is actual pretty f****** big? It makes no sense at all, most artist who tour the UK will do a UK leg in it's own right. (gaga did this during TMB) For example look at Katy's tour in May there are only 16 dates that have been announced so far and all of them are in the UK.

Do you see my point?

Still bigger than Germany.

Deserve more dates esp when she sold out 2 stadiums dates in seconds last time.

Germany is bigger and has around 20 million more inhabitants :awkney:

She only played England - not Scotland, or Wales, or NI (though Dublin date would be partly available for them I guess  )

I'd prefer a few arena shows travelling the country, to save for fan logistics

come back soon gags plse tho :sharon:

UK is a small country,3 dates are enough.

UK is one of the biggest media consumers in the world after North America. 3 dates weren't enough.

This tbh. She better at least come to Scotland this time :manicure:

Perhaps cos of distance,  say, from Bristol to London, one need 2+ hours to get there.

In the US you need more than that just to get out of one state. I'm traveling over 5 hours for one of the shows for the artRave

I traveled over 37 hours (over 1,800 miles) to see her in Moscow  :queenga:

:tea:  all over the table. Just to share with everybody else, here are the top 5 countries which contribute the most to Lady Gaga album sales (The Fame, The Fame Monster and Born This Way):

1. USA 8,390,000 albums

2. The UK 3,850,000 albums

3. Japan 2,250,000 albums

4. Germany 1,100,000 albums

5. France 900,000 albums

I didn't include the sales of The Remix, A Very Gaga Holiday (etc.)

I also didn't include ARTPOP sales numbers because we don't have enough info yet and the record is only 2 months old

The UK is the second most successful market for Gaga, and what's even more important, in the UK approx. 6 out of 100 people have bought a Lady Gaga album - this is the highest rate among all the countries and 2,2 times higher than in the USA, where approx. 2,67 out of 100 people have bought a Lady Gaga album :golfclap:

To treat the UK with only 3 dates for her is weird. London alone deserves 2 Wembley shows , and she should also think about going to Manchester, Belfast, Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Cardiff, Birmingham, Nottingham and Sheffield. She spent almost a month in Australia with over 200,000 sold for 17 dates, and only 3 dates in the UK with about 116,000 tickets sold. The more intense touring of the UK is logical and reasonable

This. Your point about Australia is so true! it shows you how she had to play 17 dates to get a mere 200,000 in Australia but yet from only 3 UK dates she managed 116,000 .. now that's impressive ... imagine the success if she did a huge UK leg!  :dead:

You wanna talk about fair?

Sweden is way bigger than UK, but we never get more than two shows in Stockholm. So it's pretty annoying to see that UK gets 50 shows per artist.

I will be so pissed if she does more in UK.

No offense to British, but she is doing everything in the UK. She barely does promo anywhere in continental Europe.

ikr, some of the british are here so ignorant :awkney:

Like France only got 2 dates as well, I think :rip:

And France is way bigger than UK :p

When was the last time she visited French or German TV show this era? :rip:

(And don't come with the ARTPOP listening since this were only for selected fans)

Not this era. But she did during the BTW era right?

Last time she visited a Swedish TV-show was 2008 to promote Just Dance...

It's not about the size and population of the country, it's about how profitable the market is gonna be for her. The UK should probably be considered to be on her 'second tier' along with Japan. USA on top.

The fact she played so many shows in certain cities in Australia and Asia is great but it's just silly priorities. TMB was very successful in the UK then they decided to just kind of abandon us for BTW.

I'm not even talking about fairness for the fans, I'm just talking from a logical perspective. It just doesn't make sense that she would play 4 shows in Hong Kong, 3 in Singapore, 3 in Auckland, 3408237532 in Australia ... and then only 3 in the UK. We were a stronghold for her album sales up to ARTPOPs debut week. I'm all for her trying to crack new markets and become big in new places, such as Asian countries, but they can't just abandon territories where she was really strong on the last tour. It's crazy.

21 UK shows on The Monster Ball Tour

3 UK shows on The Born This Way Ball Tour
