xKorix 156
She has a really flat vocal performance, like really flat, it's almost speech. Oh well the production is good and catchy so it'll be a big hit. I don't like the message though. There's millions of extremely talented people who are "working" and dreaming big and will not make it and they're not supposed too. The whole industry is designed to be hyper-exclusive, it's luck, it's winning the lottery to get in and winning it again to have a long career. It's also kind of ironic coming from Britney, she doesn't have the dance or intelligence of Madonna, the voice and creativity of Gaga, what does she bring and "work" moreso than other people? I kind of just think of her as a fun radio artist, similar to candy or soda. It doesn't move you deeply or change your life but it's fun for a while. It doesn't move you deeply or change your life but it's fun for a while.  I read that she has vocal training for her dancing.  So speaking in a song is a lot easier to do than sing, so could be why it's the lead, get her used to singing/dancing correctly at the same time.  But I don't think we should take th  lyrics seriously. It's just good lyrics to a good dance beat to dance to. We all know that Britney isn't deep lyrics. Just something just to get jiggy to lol
Mills 446
Work b---h is coming up the charts already  Yup. Once we get the GMA performance, I expect WB to at least reach #2 in iTunes.
Mills 446
I find the "ring the alarm" part the most memorable. And as much as I play it over and over again, this single isn't growing on me for some reason, unlike her previous lead singles. I still hope though that it'll peak at a relatively high position in the charts eventually, but I could no longer wait to hear a follow-up soon.
