Really? I always thought Femme Fatale was her best and Britney Jean was pretty good as well

I like two songs on Femme Fatale... But it's just that I like more dark sounding music, I feel the last albums are light and fun. + Now I know more about Britney... And how she is being an controlled artist too so that makes me like it less too:/

NEW YORK (AP)  Britney Spears is going to hit you one more time, Las Vegas. A bunch more times actually.

Caesars Entertainment said Sunday that the singer is adding more than 30 dates to her Las Vegas residency. "Britney: Piece of Me" will now play shows in October through December and February. Shows have also been added in August and September.

Tickets to the new shows go on sale Friday.

The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino says the first round of shows in August and September sold out.

The 31-year-old Spears kicked off the two-year residency late last year around the time she released her eighth album, "Britney Jean."

Congrats Brit on the phenomenal success! Selling out shows on her name alone, people just can't get enough! :applause:

When will the other girls add 30 new dates in the same city? :lolgaga:

Right?

Some girls can't even do 2 shows in the same city, while the Pop Princess is selling out shows left & right in the same city for 2 straight years.

Meanwhile, people from all over the world are booking flights to come see YOU, and not the other way around.

Truly remarkable! :applause:

Great for her, but let's not overstate it.

It's much easier to sell out residency dates in a small theater versus a world tour in a plethora of different locations in arenas or stadiums.

There was no "over-stating", if anything its actually the other way around.

Britney is still a very young pop star compared to the people who have residencies in Vegas. Elton John, Celine Dion, Shania Twain etc. Their fan bases are a lot older & most of them probably have steady jobs. So they can afford to fly from anywhere from around the world to see them.

Britney's fanbase is still comparatively younger, and most probably don't even have steady jobs to be able to fly to Vegas and go see her, while also paying for hotel etc.

So when you put things into a broader perspective, it is pretty remarkable that she is selling out shows like that. She is not really a "Legend" at this point, so it's not like the much older generation will be supporting her, like they would, for example, Celine Dion or Shania Twain.

Also, when a star comes to YOUR city for a show, it's a lot more feasible for you to go seem them in your own city, because you just have to pay for the ticket. But Vegas is a whole different ball game, you have to pay for travelling cost, accommodation, ticket etc.

So when all of this is put together, it is pretty commendable, what she been able to do in terms of ticket sales.
