Luc 4,775
But wasn't the screen photos with empty seats taken before the show begun...?! & seriously we don't care god this site is so childish sometimes everyone that went there loved the show and that's what truly matters smh at that last sentence. of course that matters the most, but we're in this thread to discuss the attendance and gross of the show. Rainbow Unicorn 82
And the shows we are discussing were sold out. I can't believe after 4 pages you still don't understand I was talking about secondary markets... It's not like I didn't say it 4 times... Nobody said that the show wasn't sold-out ;) Edited October 31, 2014 by Rainbow Unicorn
Whispering 18,865
I can't believe after 4 pages you still don't understand I was talking about secondary markets... It's not like I didn't say it 4 times... Nobody said that the show wasn't sold-out ;) I can't believe you still don't get it. ALL shows...EVERYONE will have empty seats here and there. 1. The picture was taken before the show. People are outside getting drinks, talking, in the bathroom, etc. They have SEATED tickets. A few of the seated ticket holders can and will wait until the lights go down or they hear the music to rush in. During the show, people go out to get drinks and go to the restroom. 2. Believe it or not, sometimes people have emergencies or get sick and can't attend a concert they bought tickets for. This has happened to me or people I know on multiple occasions. Will it be hundreds? No, but it can and does happen to a small portion of the audience. 3. EVERY SINGLE ARTIST, no matter how much in demand they are, will have tickets that don't sell on the secondary market. How many concerts have you been to? I've been to over 100, including JT, Bruno, Pink and Beyoncé.....I've attended many, many high demand and sold out (some in a few minutes) shows and all of them have had empty seats...ALL of them. So...why is all of this important? It's NOT! What it is...is typical and expected...so it is both useless and senseless to point out .001% of the seats in a sold out show! Bordeciel 323
smh at that last sentence. of course that matters the most, but we're in this thread to discuss the attendance and gross of the show. don't kill me. It was boring tho. EDIT: Actually i'm not okay at all, we're are here to talk about general numbers, not only like 20, 30empty seats for 4 pages... so smh to you ! :P Edited October 31, 2014 by Bordeciel
KingOfSpain 10,010
Stop arguing about the number of empty seats :ghostney: .... You're arguing about things that are completely out I think. Unsold secondary tickets are usually not visible in a big crowd. This time, it was in Paris. There were a lot resales available. Maybe you'll understand that if there are a few hundreds resales unsold in a 15k capacity arena, the empty seats won't be visible while in an arena with 6k people, it's much more visible. THIS IS JUST MY POINT. Everyone is turning it dramatically... There's nothing bad saying that. Come on, I live in France, I read medias everyday, I have friends that were at the show. I know it was sold-out for months. Let's stop now, I don't think you'll ever understand my point, but who cares. Stop arguing about the number of empty seats :ghostney: .... And get ready because in 8 days you'll experiment the true slayage of the most successful date of the European leg. Spain will probably me in the top 3 of the biggest european attendances of the tour, after Athens and Istanbul ! I know it was sold-out for months. You're always arguing with everyone with a different opinion than you in every topic. Let's stop now, I don't think you'll ever understand my point, but who cares. They are always visible. (especially if you want to zoom in like you did later on in the discussion) People point a few random seats out at places like ATRL and Pawsdown...and apparently here. ;) That's the first thing you pointed out and you said it was "a lot of empty seats" and how it was "weird". Pointing a few seats out was useless, silly and both of your comments weren't true- there was neither "a lot" and there was nothing "weird" about it. It's more than just me who has brought this to your attention. There are several regulars here who have disagreed and argued with your original comments. You will continue to get feedback, if you continue to point out senseless things like we would see the delusional drama queens do at ATRL. You keep saying let's stop, but keep replying. The best way to stop the discussion is to stop discussing it. :)
