It's clearly Lavris' fault they hyped the **** out of us with that interactive map, purposely letting everyone know that all upper sections were sold out. Despite all that people had a fantastic time as I could see form instagram videos #artraveathens. And I saw a pic where lower sections were pretty full at the back as well except the corner ones.

yes it's totally lavris mistake. The fans were reporting the numbers that they had been told by the organisers.

Fans didn't intend to spread false info on purpose.

I'm just really disappointed.

 

Not because she isn't playing for as many people as we all thought she will play for, but because most of us used this show to backup the fact that Gaga still has the power to pull massive stadium crowds.

I'm disappointed because I told everyone that dared to talk **** about the tour how she's going to perform for over 50k people in Athens, how she sold out the entire upper level and how every greek monster that bought tickets for it was told that over 40k tickets have been sold.

 

But I'm sort of getting used to the fact that most monsters would do anything to make Gaga look good, even if that implies to lie about ticket sales and attendances with the risk of being proven wrong in the end.

 

I won't judge the greek monsters that reported  to us these fake numbers, but I will judge lavris for promising us a sold out show and all the Germanos stores, the ticket selling companies that told them all these fake ass numbers.

 

Maybe you should quit hanging out at ATRL all the time. It would greatly improve your outlook and help you think about things in a way that is more in touch with reality. The tour is doing great. If you decided to base your ATRL bragging rights :roll: on these numbers, that's on you, no one else.

 

You do realize that this prediction, that seems to have rocked your world for some strange reason, wasn't by monsters. They weren't the ones lying. They were told these numbers by tour organizers in Greece.

 

You "aren't going to judge them", yet you are...calling them liars and saying they would do anything to make Gaga look good. That's judging them and unfairly accusing them of something they didn't so.

 

Please don't come here and accuse our Greek fans of something they did not do. Take that **** back to ATRL!

Oh well. If she wants $100M she might have to quickly add a few dates. There are 74 headlining dates (excl. festivals) - with BTWB's average $ per date it would make $140M, but I'd say she'll be closer to a $1.1M or $1.2M gross, which would put her between $82-90M. A quick arena tour of Southern/Central American countries couldn't end that badly. I reckon she should do the following dates in December:

 

Mexico City Arena, Mexico City (up to like 18k) [$1.5M~] PLAYED TO 37K/$2.6M WITH BTWB

Ginasio de Ibirapeura, São Paulo (10k) [$1.1M] PLAYED TO 43K/$4.2M WITH BTWB

HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro (15k) [$1.3M] PLAYED TO 26K/$2.2M WITH BTWB

Orfeo Superdome, Corboda (13k) [$1.2M} PLAYED TO 45K/$3.9M WITH BTWB

Movistar Arena, Santiago (14k) [$1.1M] PLAYED TO 42K/$2.8M WITH BTWB

Coliseo El Campin, Bogota (10k) [$1M] PLAYED TO 30K/$2.4M WITH BTWB

 

I mean, her last leg was apparently a serious "flop", so surely those arenas couldn't go TOO wrong? I mean worse case scenario is that each date ends up under 10k, with some curtains and a >$1M gross, which is almost unprofitable, but hey, in the grand scheme of things it'll be alright. They could cut travel costs and just bring the main stage (sans catwalks) to these shows. 

 

If that still didn't get her to $100M and she really wanted it, they could do late December arena dates in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo (again but whatever) and she'd DEFINITELY hit it.

Eh, she still pulled a big crowd. But these little bumps in the road like Israel and Greece are making her chances of $100M slimmer and slimmer. 

I'll say she's heading towards $92M-$95M now. Meh.

Guys can I please have an update rather than skimming through the last few pages - i sort of did but was confused? I am reading 50-60K tickets were not sold so what happened? What number are we looking at now? This really upsets me - this was the concert to show Gaga was still queen. I think I am depressed - I need cuddles!

Believe it or not, grossing <$100M is pretty mediocre for someone of her level. I think anyone with common sense would know Gaga is set for life but this is about the numbers and comparing how well the tour is faring compared to other recent hit tours. It's definitely not a matter of Gaga's financial situation lol

It's just like the last 30k she needed to outsell PRISM first week in the US. That would've gotten her so much positive media attention. A 100M tour is like a sort of margin you get over for your tour to be considered successful. 

 

But at least we're accepting it now already, we won't have big meltdowns in November/December I don't think they're going to add new dates in Latin America. She shouldn't exhaust those markets. Taiwan/China is too far away, too.

they should've added dates in Madrid, Rome, Helsinki, Gdansk/Warsaw, Riga, Mexico City, Osaka, Hong Kong from the beginning but now it's too late
