In Australia, seated tickets in like the first 20 rows are $400 for katy. They are $180 for gaga

Gaga is selling more tickets but Katy is grossing more? I don't understand, even when MSG's had the more expensive tickets of the tour, Katy gross $400.000 more?

To think 3 months long people would reply 'yeah her tickets are extremely cheap' whenever I praised her ticket sales her tickets are 2x pricier than Gagas (which is kinda weird but let's just assume everything is correct)

He wasn't calling Katy a flop, he just pointed out that she had a smaller crowd.

YOU were implying Gaga and her team were lying about ticket sales and that her shows had "4,000 unsold tickets"

Judging by Katy's sales, You shouldn't be trying to make snide remarks, you should be embarassed that you were proven wrong because Katy's attendances were even smaller than Gaga's.

Nobody said it wasn't ok for Madonna to do that. You just came in here saying Gaga lied about tour sales because Madonna sold more tickets and we disagreed. What are you talking about? Katy's ticket for the front rows at Rod Laver Arena are $199, Gaga's are $169 but most seats in the front area end up being sold for upwards of $350 as part of VIP packages.

YES SHE IS LIKE EVERY POPULAR ARTIST. IM NOT CALLING HER A FLOP. IM JUST SAYING ITS NOT TECHNICALLY SOLD OUT IN REAL LIFE BECAUSE THOSE TICKETS THAT COUNT AS BOUGHT ARE NOT ACTUALLY FILLED SEATS. I never actually followed concert attendance before so now that ive looked into it and I see how it works im noticing how it is. By comparison if we must, Katy Perry had 36 tickets left yesterday for her show today where as Gaga still has about 700. I think one should be much more inclined to call her show a true sold out show as opposed to this one.

 

im so done with this conversation though. All of you continue calling her show a full house when it isn't and looking the other way. I don't care anymore, I didn't even set out to care in the first place. Some of you are getting me so annoyed that I sound like a hater and im not down with this.

I think the problem is that you are calling a "full house" the same thing as a "sold out show", when it's not. A sold out show means all the tickets have been sold from the original seller...whether everyone goes and the actual show has a "full house" (ie everyone turns up), that's a different thing.
