Ronk 14,518
How do ticket sales work? I just checked the Buffalo concert on July 7. There are 1427 tickets left, but the prices are mostly way higher than the original prices. I paid $275 for my ticket not counting the fees. Since the prices are higher than the original, does that mean that the seats were already purchased by speculators? Then, from Gaga's point of view, wouldn't the concert be already sold out, since the speculators had bought all the seats. Or, on the other hand, do stubhub and tickets.com get the tickets on consignment from Gaga, can charge whatever they want, and if they don't sell them Gaga doesn't get a sale for those seats? I live outside the space time continuum.
Ronk 14,518
With StubHub they're so high, because the site keeps a lot of money so people wanna make money. I got mine through tickets.com which went through vividseats. The face value on my ticket is $200 but the prices for those seats is all over the map, even in the same section or rows. For this to happen, it seems that individuals must be selling the tickets they bought on speculation. I was wondering if those ticket sites like ticketmaster, stubhub, vividseats, tickets.com, etc are acting as clearinghouses for anyone selling seats, and each seller names the price. That is my question. I live outside the space time continuum.

_Lam 597
Gaga totally slayed Canada. The three first shows was sold out, ARTPOP claim the number 9 on iTunes, critic acclaim, people acclaim (no fans in fact) and the artRAVE was Trending on Twitter there I can't wait for Vancouver, Quebec, Ottawa and Toronto shows. I'm seriously living for that 150 000 attendance Quebec Festival show ! You will seriously die when you'll see the crowd show ! I know how it looks like ! PolishKapi 0
I know it's not really tour related, but I wonder how many people attended the artRAVE in November and her residency in Roseland

I think that 150k attendence will happen! Some sources already said that tickets are flying for that event + she is big in Canada!
Ronk 14,518
The tour doesnt look like its doing that well in the OP There are many more seats sold than the chart shows. Seattle has only 294 seats left for tonight which makes it 97% sold, not 75%. I live outside the space time continuum.
KishiKCM 0
The tour doesnt look like its doing that well in the OP It hasn't been updated in a few days. Seattle is almost sold out.
Luc 4,775
I think that 150k attendence will happen! Some sources already said that tickets are flying for that event + she is big in Canada! Hoping for the best, but I remember Quebec radio stations were the last ones to pick up DWUW (in fact the biggest one - CKOI Montréal - didn't even play DWUW more than like thrice a week).. they were quite supportive towards G.U.Y. though, and a song can be a hit without airplay simply due to the Top 5 iTunes exposure, The Voice US, SNL, AMAs and of course word of mouth.. just hoping for the best! The tour doesnt look like its doing that well in the OP that's because the OP basically states the lowest it could possible be, nobody has the time to update something this big every day with precise information. And next to that, for most shows you can't know how many GA tickets are sold so you won't know how many tickets are sold. I can assure you that almost every NA show is 90%+ sold out! There are a few exceptions, however: Phoenix, Las Vegas (2nd), San Antonio are the worst ones.
Luc 4,775
Seattle (excluding VAT): 419*$200 36*$85 172*$49,50 253*$35 so a total of $104.229,00 more gross could potentially be made. Edited May 28, 2014 by Luc
