Whispering

The importance is showing that she hasn't declined.

Why? So fans can run to ATRL or twitter and argue about concert grosses for the next two years? Sorry, but all that is just crazy and it is nothing but a giant waste of time.

Gaga may not be wanting to do as many dates as she did with her previous tours. Maybe her goal isn't to do that many shows, for that long of a time period anymore. Maybe she has decided that she doesn't want to live on the road. Gaga may actually want a life, a boyfriend, a family, a home.

Keep in mind, there very well could be some physical limitations the insurance company (that backs the tour) has put on her, due to the injury last time. Remember the Michael Jackson lawsuit? Can you imagine how much the pay out would be and the lawsuit Gaga would have, if she ended up with a career ending injury and she could prove that promoters pushed her too far? There could very well be restrictions on the amount of shows she is allowed to do. Gaga would HAVE TO abide by any guidelines the insurance company sets up, she would have no choice.

Gaga's US/Canada shows are at 75% capacity to sold out and they are months away. She's not going to have problems selling tickets internationally either, once those shows are announced. Everything doesn't have to be a contest with other stans. The competition thing is a ridiculous waste of time, Gaga is doing fine with the amount of shows she has in the US and with how they are selling at this point.

There actually seems to be a lot of things wrong with Dark Horse's release. I'm sure if we were in Katy's position right now we'd still be worried. It's #31 on Kworb combined, despite being #1 in the US. The messy promo single release has hurt it a lot.

Dark Horse in the 10 major markets (ranked by importance)

#1 - United States

#X - Japan (not charting)

#198 - United Kingdom

#47 - Germany

#77 - France

#29 - Australia

#3 - Canada

#172 - Brazil

#138 - Italy

#7 - Netherlands

I'm sure a music video will re-align the positions, but she's just visited the typical one visit per era markets like Australia, Japan, Germany and France and wouldn't likely return.

There won't be anything Gaga related at the Grammys unless she's doing a Beyonce and be like SURPRISE BITCHES!

And yay for having the thread back, now let's keep those meltdowns out or I'll be coming for you like a Derk Wh0res.

I thought she was performing in a group tribute?

Of course it did, it won't be anywere near as successful as Roar, thank God!

Even if it does 4 million in the US alone, surely it couldn't surpass 7.5M worldwide? Japan probably won't jump on, the UK promo will probably come late in the piece and it's already been performed in Germany.

Can't remember to forget you is doing really bad. It's not a good song but still surprising that it's going so bad.

This is Capitol we're talking about. She'll visit Germany, France, Japan and Australia again for sure. She probably won't return to Italy, China and The Netherlands for promotion though.

The only Grammy performance I'm looking forward to is anything gaga related and Adele

Wait is Adele confirmed?

For touring, definitely. I'm sure the UK will catch on.

I can't see her returning to Australia or Japan again in Dark Horse's run at least, she was here only two months ago.

Dark Horse is already over in Australia, isn't it? It's had a nice chartrun there tbh. Same with NZ.

She's already promoted DH in Germany, and the song has no potential in Japan. At best I can see her doing promotion in France, South Korea, the UK and the US only.

What is OBAMA

can we just accept that around 3 years ago Gaga was like AT THE TOP, everyone was waiting for her to release Born this way and the world was eating out of her hand

and now she's dropped like 4 to 5 floors in the building of relevance, she' pretty much above average but has fallen under some of her peers who aren't topping the building like she did but have a better view of their windows than gaga's at the moment
