Talent remains but money goes? Tell that to Britney, Mariah, Xtina

 

The situation is very different from them...

 

Britney actually losts his talent (dance-performance) but she's stayed on top in a negative and positive way for 13 years more or less until now-last album.

Xtina definitely is in the worst situation, we'll see with the next album.

Mariah at least slayed for 15 years (all the 90's and the half of 2000) with +200 millions records and 18 numbers 1 in Hot100 she still own the record for the female lead, but Mariah even if she flops or something she had one of the best and long career in the music also better than Cèline Dion if we talk about singles sales and success songs..

 

Gaga is just at the beginning if you think, even if it seems that she's done a lot because these 5 years were full.

 

it's obviuos that now an album and single don't sell ourselves alone, especially without a video that from ever is always been one of the major point of strong for Gaga success and sales..

Since about a week this thread has been like this

Not even the mods post like before anymore

 

DWUW is clearly dying already and with not hits or promotion is very safe to say the album is going to plummet. At this point I think we need to stay away from the charts until Gaga announces something, video release date or single 3 (here for the last).

I dont know. I simply dont understand whats happening.

1. Her image is damaged and it hasn't been fully repaired. During the BTW era, it was the weird clothing and the preachiness, now people don't care about ART.

2. I really think if she had released a video for DWUW, the album wouldn't be out of the Top 100. She hasn't released a video in five months.

3. ARTPOP is too expensive. No one is going to play $15.99 for a regular album, when deluxe albums are that much. BTW, Prism is discounted to $ 9.99 at Target, until February. 

4. She needs a manager(ASAP) and professionals for her videos. 

5. The blackout 2014

 

I'm surprised, but not shocked about sales.

Born This Way was out of the top 100 too at a point, but it was like 9 months after its release...

But that's just common sense? Obviously the sales are gonna drop after a whole month of just nothing. Lot of people are simpletons, they want to be reminded that they like something to win em over and buy an album (other then the fans).

So yeh we can meltdown about sales but an album won't sell simply of thin air.

At this point the only thing we can do is sitting it out (or meltdown I suppose) and wait for Gaga to step back into publicity and see how it does then

I doubt it, it's us fans that are aware of her blackout because we keep track of every little fart.

The rest of the people will just not notice it if she's gone for a few weeks and make a reappearance somewhere. She's been covered again by the media about her apologies on LM so in a way she's "still out there" for the rest of us mortals ;)
