I think the promo was almost perfect just the timing between and the people not catching up with the song :/ this could be a smash if the people like it to be one. As much as I love Venus, Gypsy is perfect. A chorus that says I don't want to be alone forever makes sense what with all the stuff that's been going on, and it shows another side to Gaga. Venus is fun and quirky enough that it would do better as a later single or as good as it would do as a third single. It takes a lot of getting used to.. and it also feels very messy for first-time listeners (too many pre-choruses, post-choruses and such). The vocals on it are great, but I think that there are other songs better suited for third single. And by the way, the fact that we are talking about a third single is a DWUW forum is sad. Well it's all speculation considering Gaga changed her name to Goddess of Love on littlemonsters.com. Just think that all music channels can't play the song because it doesn't have a music video, not even a lyric video. This kind of streaming alone is very important is many places of Europe and WW and all these without even refering to the main videos effects like exposure on YT, the main body of streaming for the charts, all the promotion, the exposure to social media, the possible controversy etc...
