It's just funny watching the people the tabloids have been hyping over gaga as like "the next big thing" fail to make the impact she did. She was huge and will always have that to look back on even if she achieves nothing else when it comes to mainstream success. The problem is that the media WANT her to fail so everything gets torn apart, whatever she'd do. If she came out uber poppy like FM for example then it would bad cause she just doing the same ole thing. With ARTPOP, which is far from her first album (you can sense the evolution as her as a person) you get: "omg where is old gaga, this is bad we want old gaga back". Plus a lot of exposure gets negative response from people that never liked her anyway but now because are getting fueled by the bad press they feel like having a free pass in jumping the hate bandwagon. It's sickening to see sometimes tbh. OFC there isn't much gaga could be doing differently they have decided to hate her but they are fickle and will eventually find someone else to pick on.
