Gypsy isn't generic its a great song. Boring =/= generic!! The truth is radio is the key. Of course streaming is a major factor but people wont know about the song without radio.

I'll hope you see the light soon. The song is loud, generic, sounds like Gaga's previous material, her vocals on the song are annoying as **** and the song is overproduced, the lyrics are pretty bad actually. It's like wanting Hair as a single from Born This Way.

ARTPOP is the song with the most potential on the album, Gypsy won't even come close to Applause's sales if released. The only good reason to release Gypsy is because she can sing it acoustic at the Grammys and BRITs.

ARTPOP will neverrrrrrrrrr be a single. You're setting yourself up for disappointment.

I seriously cannot understand how the hell Dark Horse is #4..

 

Excuse me If I am wrong but that looks very very suspicious. Unconditionally with a video and 80m AI which is clearly a more releatable song flops which is Ok because people may not be here for this. But all of a sudden, when Capitol announces DH as the next single everyone buys it... Some very dirty game is played here. There is NO WAY so many people are buying the song. I saw in twitter that there have posted only 70 tweets with Dark Horse the last hour. Also the streams are low and do not explain the popularity.

The lyrics are great, but nowhere near as appealing as

Let alone that Gypsy is way catchier than MTN.  I mean just stop Ok ? And I am sure that all of you will be hoping for Gypsy to flop If It gets released, just so you can say "SEE ? "

I really hope I am wrong. 

But why are lyrics so important? Applause was a big hit in the US and Canada with lyrics that aren't relatable. The problems Applause had were in the rest of the world, where people don't care about lyrics.

But oh well, let's see how Gypsy will do if released. When Gaga releases a different song and it flops, she at least has the excuse that it's a risky song and not the safest song from the album like Gypsy.

I don't want Venus as the third single by the way, I'm certain that even Gypsy is a better choice for third single (unless the third single is the last single). ARTPOP, GUY or MANiCURE seem like the best choices to me. There's no good reason why she'd choose Gypsy over these three for me.

And MANiCURE is 2 times more "generic" than Gypsy  

It's a fact that the majority on GGD, ATRL and TUMBLR believe that  Gypsy and GUY are the best songs on the album.  You can laugh all you want at my "sources" but what else can we consider ?  Digital sales, well Gypsy is also selling the best.

Yeah I don't get what's wrong with ARTPOP as a single...it's not that risky. Only the title is weird tbh, the rest is magical and non offensive for the easily scared public. They'd embrace it.

Why not? Why wouldn't ARTPOP become a single? What do the other songs on the album have that ARTPOP doesn't?

ARTPOP has the most potential to be a huge radio hit, can appeal to all ages, can have a pretty video and at the same time explain what the album is about to those who care about that. The lyrics aren't relatable when listening to it for the first few times or if you don't care about lyrics (which wouldn't make lyrics a problem anyways), but does that matter that much?

Wut? It's very catchy, the we could we could belong together....I know ARTPOP is my fave song but that's not why I want it as a single. I want it as one because it's one of her best, is something different from her usual stuff, and something which I believe the public might pleasantly enjoy and use.

The beat is hypnotic.

Anyways since you guys want either gypsy or Venus it'll probably be neither of them considering we never get what we want :flop:
