I can't at a Katy stan calling 80% of ARTPOP basic and saying Aura is worse than being basic + "firework has a deeper meaning than BTW, and BTW is basic" :rip: Then calling me ignorant for saying that Katy is the definition of basicness and calling me pressed because she's doing better than Gagz. i literally can't.

Not true. The video was released before the song was released in the US, where it jumped to #8 on iTunes. Before The Voice performance it had already sold over 500K here... Which most was derived from that video.

That's correct. The Video and the song were released at the same time, and you could buy it on iTunes in the US two weeks after the video was released, which propelled it to a short top 10 run in the US. Then the song took over 3 months to make it to the top 50 on US pop radio and was at 45-100 on iTunes during most of that time. It was a #1 smash already in the UK.

 

Burn made the long term jump on iTunes and never looked back after The Voice performance. The Voice and the accompanying airplay surge afterwards is what has kept this six month old song moving forward and in the top 10-15 consistently on iTunes since Nov. 26th.

When will we get that monster promo again UGH IT WAS SUCH A FLAWLESS PROMO CAMPAIGN. Always praised it. Never really understood why the fans didn't appreciate it in full, I couldn't be happier Now it feels like she's been in a blackout since her hip injury tbh

Am I the only one who saw the album selling moderately coming?

3 smash albums was already too good to be true. 4 would be just ...close to impossible for a pop star.

 

Yeah I kind of saw this coming, but I didn't see the backlash of the album sales being so disappointing. A good streak doesn't last forever but it feels like it hit the breaks.

Sorry, I must have worded it weird.  Gaga loves going when she's performing.  She's just okay with going if she's nominated.  She has always hated going when she's not nominated and not performing because it makes her feel like a celebrity instead of an artist.

 

But like I said, she hasn't commented on this in a few years as far as I'm aware..  Hopefully her opinion has changed.

What radio station(s) is this and why am I such a flop? The only gaga songs I've heard on radio this year are the one's I listed. I have yet to hear Applause or DWUW.

Well Idk what part you are in but here in Colorado Springs the stations that play her are 98.9 Magic FM, 96.1 The Beat, my 99.9, 92.9 The Peak and even 89.5 in Pueblo. They don't all play all those songs but many of them and between them all I hear almost all her singles over the week
