Rita Ora sued for £3.2million over claims she hid earnings from former manager

Rita Ora is being sued by her former manager for more than £3million.Sarah Stennett, her former manager who helped make Rita Ora the biggest star in the world after signing her in 2009, has filled papers at the High Court claiming her firm FAE Ventures is owed millions.

The documents claim Rita Ora violated the terms of her contract by failing to hand over a cut of her earnings from tours and television work.

The biggest chunk of the alleged underpayments stands at just over £1.7million - with FAE Ventures claiming there were "impermissible deductions" for professional services including accountancy, advertisingand insurance.

Rita Ora is also alleged to have hidden more than £1.1million by "unreporting touring income" between 2019 and 2020 while on her Phoenix World Tour, which included 7 UK arena shows. Paperwork suggests that up to £6million made from those concerts allegedly went missing from the statements.

Sarah's firm also claims Rita misrepresented her earnings while working as The Masked Singer judge. It alleges that commission from the 5th series was paid "on the basis of invoices which did not accurately reflect the sums to which the defendant was contractually entitled". Sarah claims the alleged "cover-up" left her business almost £25,000 out of pocket. source
