I hear it EVERY day at the gym, and I was just looking through a fitness challenge instagram tag and found a bunch of photos with Applause lyrics (and no, these weren't Brazilian 16 year old gays) and a lot of Applause single cover/MV/iPhone music photos with cute little captions about how they workout for the Applause. It's 140BPM+ workout appeal is real. The power of the KIA commercial to flesh out the meaning of applause.
