It performed worse than You and I in the USA you realize that ? And you and I peaked with 60M AI ... and was performed 100 times before BTW was even released. . . How can a song that most people don't even know, repair Gaga's image ? Yesterday in the Airport 1 boy asked me If Gaga has new songs out Are you serious though? Applause has reached YOU & I s final sales while it was still top 20. Y&I did more than one year to reach those sales. When its all said and done Applause will probably end around 3M in the US, like Paparazzi or TEOG and more than Alejandro. I don't see the reason all of you need to shade these 2 songs to prove that your fave is better. I love both songs a lot and they are both in my 10 favorite Gaga songs. BTW .meaning is unique and Applause theatricality the same. Eventhough for me Applause > BTW for me both songs are amazing. The truth is though that Applause bad to fight from the ashes while BTW had everything and still it didn't perform as good as another song would have performed because its not very GP friendly and easy to cope with.
