Well, these days, not having Gaga on your show isn't the show's loss, it's Gaga's and her fans' loss.

Tbh....

No video since august, no more promo, no 3rd single, no Grammy performance :deadbanana: are we stanning for the Queen or Britney? No shade intended....

 When the awards shows were nothing without Gaga on them  Now they can be nothing even with her :awkney:

Well she sure won't be pop royalty if she keeps this up...

That's why she needs something like Dope or another ballad (not gypsy :awkney: ) she needs the Adele-like recognition where people tini in to watch her sing at the piano and amaze everyone. I saw the tweets from the Grammys account saying that yesterday she got the first standing ovation of the night. This is what she needs for the public to connect with her. And I said not gypsy because that song is a typical power ballad that will bring the GP for sales but will not exactly keep the GP loyal. But a more classic piano song could do wonders whether that's dope or something new. Or at least gypsy acoustic not the messy Madeon beats when the tonight kicks in.

Tbh. Especially if her contemporaries do as good as her or better with their tours. That's the only receipt she's got remaining (apart from talent)

To be honest, she still has a Jazz album recorded and 100% ready to release. Just waiting for the right time. That is way better for that kind of promotion than singing DOPE at the GRAMMYs imo. But I don't even know what they're waiting for :awkney: do you guys think that they weren't allowed to perform at the GRAMMYs because they weren't nominated and that that caused the album delay? Are they waiting for holidays season? Are they waiting for Tony Bennett to die so the album will get a lot of buzz a la Whitney/Amy?

While I agree the production blighted Gypsy's potential, Gaga can't sell an album based on a sound that isn't on it. Nor a single by promoting a version that isn't for sale.

I fear Dope is too dark and depressing. It makes love sound like being strung out on heroin.

Yeah, dope is a bit depressing but her vocals slay. Oh well, people might be tricked into buying the album :hor: didn't unapologetic do well after stay performance? I haven't listened to that album but I doubt it's all piano ballads :toofunny:

And guys, Im dreaming of Gaga coming on stage at the Grammys dressed like she did at the Versace show in Paris, sit down on the piano and slay everyone by singing Princess Die, the lyrics are amazing, her vocals on that song slay, it's really emotional, and some silly media might put a controversial spin on the princess die thing and get her more attention :nooo:

That was kind of a fluky thing - it's like thinking with the right dance song and theatrical performance and fashion, someone could recapture Gaga's 2009 success.

Adele herself will struggle to live up to it.

Unapologetic is full of ballads.

And OMG yeah, if she did that with Princess Die it would be fab

Of course she can.

The acoustic performance of DWUW on Alan Carr did more for the single sales than the performance at Graham Norton. Gypsy went Top 100 on iTunes in Japan after being performed acoustic.

It just isn't that effective. But it helps a lot in brand and touring, which is way more important than a $1.30/€1,30 single.
