Mariano 958
Whenever I see something about how btw era should have gone I get this idea: Album should have been called The Edge of Glory. Singles would go like this: TEOG > HML > EC > Hair the slayage after TFM era with no controversies with these songs would have been epic and out of this world. No one would have known about Adele But that's only for commercial and receipts and slaying purposes. Cause BTW was so important and I wouldn't change a thing of it. But as a dream such slayage would have been :nooo: The era could've still smashed more with Born This Way .. It should've went like that: Born This Way The Edge Of Glory Heavy Metal Lover Hair I adore You and I but It should've been the Speechless of BTW - performed on a lot of places for Album promo, but there was not much of a point in releasing it as a single. HML might have underperformed but Imagine the video BTW Opening of the album Hair closing - Perfection. TEOG would've been 7-8M WW If It was the 2nd single also And the album would've probably been 10M WW

TEOG would've been 7-8M WW If It was the 2nd single also And the album would've probably been 10M WW I only removed BTW to get an era with no controversy, literally even those who hate her since BTW such as old Madge fans and homophobes (she became more know as pro gay after BTW) would have bought her much hyped album and single. Seriously, there'd be no Adele. HML would flop. Americano could do well cause although its not my fave it seemed that GP likes it Depends, after TEOG nothing would flop. HML is time resting, and although live it wouldn't get good vocals it would do good on radio. I mean judas sold well in the first few days and did well on radio as well at first before stalling due to controversy. HML after TEOG slayage would have done just fine. And perhaps EC should just have been promo single and maybe sent to rock radios who would be reluctant to play her but might play EC due to album and Gaga hype and the song's riffs. TEOG would've been 7-8M WW If It was the 2nd single also And the album would've probably been 10M WW 21 who? Red who?

Desperado 2,439
no, why ? Not true. Gaga just had had sold 1-2M of Born This Way (the single) in the first week, then Judas sold 2.5M in It's entire chart run. After Born THis Way selling 8.2M in 2011 alone, 2.5M in 3 years Of the follow up single is CLEAR FLOPPAGE. because its Rey not Ray and people sometimes say Ray to shade her

MonsterMum 2,532
Gaga is under a 360 deal. Interscope makes a TON off of her tours and merchandise sales. How do you know she has a 360 deal (I know it's common pratice these days but just wondering)
Luc 4,775
Judas indeed wasn't that bad WW. But the US is so conservative and religious (and english-speaking ) compared to the rest of the western world/big markets so yeah flop in the US could be expected. Thirteen 93
ANd yall still can't get the point of singles ? Even if dope doesn't repeak It will be played on the radio and It will have promotion tell them ! Venus is more like BTW kind of song if anything ... and the same goes for Aura.. just because the choruses are heavenly, doesn't mean the songs are like Bad Romance... When has a song smashed only because of Its Chorus anyway ? Really? Timber The Monster arguably Gangnam Style and these are just recent examples :)

The single choices were the biggest mistakes of the BTW era imo. Releasing Hair after TEOG could have saved the era Before there was love, there was silence
Luc 4,775
They were singing Born This Way against Putin this afternoon on Dutch Television and the presenter of the show who hosts the annual top 2000 didn't know the song and the singer wtf Matthijs van Nieuwkerken? that's a mess. And yet they always mention Gaga when they're talking about social media, fanbase, or new pop artists Single choices BTW era imo: TeoG [FEBRUARY RELEASE] -> BTW ALBUM RELEASE MARCH-> SCHEIßE -> BTW -> BM [PROMO SINGLE] -> MTN :DEAD:

THank god my country has less than half a million people living and can never be a major market cuz same thing happened with judas here. Most people hated Gaga after that and now think she's a church hater or some such crap :toofunny:
Pure Adrenaline 1,518
Well they let Gaga follow her artistic vision whats wrong in that? Also they let her release the best song on album. And they have team who knows what is betterWhat tweet? The tutu accaunt she made during the y&i era she post picture with her and constellation from last night with Venus lyrics It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely
