can we just accept that around 3 years ago Gaga was like AT THE TOP, everyone was waiting for her to release Born this way and the world was eating out of her hand

and now she's dropped like 4 to 5 floors in the building of relevance, she' pretty much above average but has fallen under some of her peers who aren't topping the building like she did but have a better view of their windows than gaga's at the moment

We read it everyday on this thread

How could anyone not be aware :awkney:

Dark Horse is already over in Australia, isn't it? It's had a nice chartrun there tbh. Same with NZ.

She's already promoted DH in Germany, and the song has no potential in Japan. At best I can see her doing promotion in France, South Korea, the UK and the US only.

It was done in like November, but wasn't allowed to chart and hasn't even hit 35,000 downloads. It's platinum in NZ though, for all of 15,000 sales. :toofunny:

What is OBAMA

How could anyone not be aware :awkney:

some people here still think that her tour will do as well as TMB or BTWB so, they are clearly NOT aware  :awkney:

At least she was at the very top unlike some of her peers. Not everybody has the luxury to be at the top. Think about it.  ;)

Great a--logy. I just wish she would try to change that. She can do it. I'm confident that she can. She has the talent and drive to be greater.

She has? And it's only at #47?

She will. She will be at the top again sometime. Maybe she will gain back the general public in 2014.

Touring =/= sales

Being a big touring act isn't all about having a big album, it's about so many things including past hits, relevance, media attention, fanbase, etc. Gaga has many of these, and because Katy's outselling Gaga 1,5x, doesn't mean that her tour will outsell Gaga's 1,5x too.

A few weeks ago, it isn't an official single there yet though. It's like as if Gaga performed Gypsy in Germany a month ago and it'd still be #47 :P

Definitely she could still stay on top, if she plays the right cards and do the right moves.

It depends by her decisions and team support.

I agree. Sales do factor in touring, but everything counts. Some people just love to see an artist perform. They have the charisma. Artists such as Beyonce,Gaga, Britney,Madonna, Bon Jovi, Justin, U2, Taylor Swift could probably stay rich from touring. Tours are what keep an artist rich, because albums aren't selling.

It could do that with it's eyes closed.

The artRAVE already has 29 NA dates, all 75%+ sold out so far. The tour will probably end up with 40+ when all is said and done. BTWB had 18, and TMB had 82 - though these were across two legs, and with double nights which Gaga has yet to plan. Signs point to a 2015 victory lap.

Whilst the 40+ lead The Monster Ball has would seem hard to make up, Gaga only did 4 low grossing Asia dates with that tour. The Born This Way Ball had four times that amount, with way higher grosses - enough to make up the little US dates.

I could go into way more detail, but basically the tour can set it's sights on 150M+ at the least I'd say, putting it in the general range of her other successful tours.

But then there's Australia and Europe, where she's declined a lot more than in the US :flop:

She'll do fine in Australia, I'm still expecting 20M+. Look at Beyonce's success here after 4. Europe wouldn't be too bad either.

So Gaga is going to release singles during her tour and then maybe ARTPOP Act 2? This is going to be like The Monster Ball tour  :)

I'm a bit worried that maybe Gaga will get tired during the tour so that she wont do any promo outside of the tour...
