ARTPOP these are the only songs that are not Influenced by TF/TFM/BTW And ARTPOP is the only unique song. Fashion! is good but It's not Innovative at all.. Swine is good Jewels N' Drugs ... yeah It;s a typical Hip Hop/Trap Influenced song. Venus is weird but good Aura is weird AND good (the Intro is horrible, first verse is not good, Choruses are top 5 Gaga chorus ever, second verse slays and then the song ****ING ENDS wtf ? ) And as a whole these songs apart from ARTPOP and JnD are still typical Gaga sound, I am sorry for wanting something different from her ok ? And the thing I don't like is working on music in 2011 and releasing it in 2013 and expecting it to sound fresh, HOW IN HELL ? Seriously. 2 years are a lot of time .. I want her to work like she did for The Fame Monster and then for Born This Way ... work for 8-12 months and then release the music ... Sexxx Dreams and MANiCURE don't have previous Gaga influences. Also Dope is a raw ballad, it doesn't have an influence from anything. All these songs together make most of the album so no, ARTPOP has its own personality. I mean why would you care about the charts when you dont write music for them? Like...wtf? And Gaga has said so many times that she doesnt care about #1s so stop. Lets not go off topic. I agree with u that she cares, But doesn't write for the charts is not the same as doesn't care, stop. Both Katy and Gaga cares about charts.. difference: Katy and Dr Luke are producing HITS - Katy tweets stuff like "This song is going to be huge", "Get ready to be hearing this song on every wedding" and "I smell a big hit" while Gaga just writes music that she wants to, and then her marketing/PR team are the ones who decide which song is single worthy etc...
