My friend is casual listener. She loves Venus and always skips Gypsy. (Her fav songs are Venus, Applause, DWYW, Aura and Sexxx Dreams) One other friend loves Venus, too. The song is suitable for more radio formats than Gypsy, and would do very well on AC and HAC radio. Gypsy may be played, may not be played. But it will likely get bad callout scores because the song is annoying to many people. Why's she having trouble right now?
