I think it's because people are using their iTunes gift cards they got for Christmas and are buying the basic songs like Roar that were hits earlier in the year. What i think is much more troubling is that a record company and/or artist is letting a song with so much potential wither on the vine and eventually die. I think this charting era is in jeopardy.
