I live in Brisbane and i can't tell you of any concerts that have ever happened at The Gabba and I'm almost 23, yet in 8 years there has been 8 concerts at Suncorp Stadium, including U2, Cold Play, and Taylor Swift is about to do her's there as well. The capacity you listed for the Gabba is the whole stadium and doesn't include people on the ground which would be like 15000-20000 atleast considering its a round stadium. Whereas Suncorp Stadium plays for around 45000 people which is what you listed the Gabba for. And looking at the other end of the Gabba, people look smaller than they do if you look at them at Suncorp Stadium. I'm from Australia so trust me on this one and i'll trust you on the UK :)

Ok, good point, so I changed it. The least attended concert was The Police with just over 25,000 and Gaga performed to over 31,000 in Brisbane, so I'm sure she can beat that at least. To be honest, I'm surprised that you're not querying my inclusion of the Adelaide Oval, because a few people have said it's too big and not many people go there. The only reason I included it is because with just stadiums, there's very few Oceanian dates (that's why I separated Melbourne into two stadiums even though she could sell out one night at Etihad Stadium) and I thought 6 cities looked better. My hope is also that as Oceanians are used to multiple Gaga shows, they might want to attend several stadium gigs. With cheap tickets, this could be possible, because Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide are all cluttered reasonably close together (compared to other cities). I wish there was enough demand for two gigs at the nib Stadium, but as she barely played for 31,000 with the BTWB, I wouldn't risk it.

I understand everyone wants her to do more places in the UK, but someone of her stature can't go from doing a stadium in a country to going to do all arenas that are like 1/5 of the capacity

The arenas that I provided are the biggest in each city and some of the biggest arenas in the UK. The Hydro may only hold 13,000 but it's Scotland's biggest arena and because it's new and meets the magic capacity requirement of 13,000 (this is why I set this standard for my suggested dates), some of the biggest stars in America want to perform here now which I'm hoping means Gaga will too. The LG arena is Birmingham's biggest arena too and not only is the Phones4U arena the biggest arena in Manchester, it's one of the world's most famous and visited arenas (it was ranked #3 in the world in 2011). As for the stadiums, while Gateshead is hardly glamourous or a well-known area, the stadium has hosted gigs by Bon Jovi and Tina Turner and it's the ideal size for Gaga because the only stadiums used for concerts in the north east and too big and the biggest arena only hold 11,000. The Liberty Stadium is the third biggest stadium in Wales (their only arena holds less than 10,000) and Twickenham Stadium is the second biggest stadium in the UK (I would've gone for Wembley just to say she'd headlined there but the capacity is over 90,000 and is too ambitious). London, Manchester and Birmingham are the three most populated cities in the UK, Glasgow is the most populated in Scotland, Swansea is the second most populated city in Wales and the Gateshead date is for the entire population of the north east which is made up of one big city and lots of small cities. I wish Gaga could do stadiums all over the UK, but speaking as a Scot, she isn't ready for a stadium date here, nor is she prepared for one in the Midlands either.

Thing is, outwith London, UK stadiums are kinda risky for Gaga. Because she played for over 101,000 people in London with just two dates, it's easy for outsiders to say: "She can do stadiums all over the UK." or "London is the only UK city she needs to visit now." In actuality, a large number of those spectators came from outwith London. I did (with 2 others) and I know a lot of other fans here who travelled far and wide to go to those shows too, because there was only a choice of 3 dates for the entire country and the Manchester arena sold out in seconds. Because the only option was to go to London, a lot of fans couldn't go. Travel to London is mega expensive and accomodation and everything else is too. I had to take 3 days out of my life to travel to London, watch the show and get home and if I had a job or was at school/university, I wouldn't have had that luxury, which was the case for a lot of fans. The whole experience was hellish and it ruined my enjoyment of the show when I finally got there. I'll be really annoyed if I have to endure that again. The UK is the world's third biggest music market and our tour dates should reflect accordingly. The most successful UK legs are the ones that tour the entire country properly. It's not rocket science - by performing in every major city in a country, the majority are just a hop skip and jump away, meaning the expense of tickets is manageable because they don't have to pay for travel, accomodation, meals, etc. It was awesome when Gaga was playing in Glasgow with TMB. Just half an hour's drive away for me. I naively thought it would always be like this.

Yes people forget it because the arena can only do like 10000 and the stadium's are just too big for someone as young as gaga, not even Taylor is going there. Most concerts there have a capacity for 5% of the Adelaide area, which sadly is not enough Gaga fans. I contacted them last year because i had a uni project involving a concert tour, and the standing room alone for the Adelaide Oval is like 25000-30000 people, plus regular seating which is way too much, which is why Melbourne normally gets two dates to cater for Adelaide people, so unless they were dirt cheap tickets i think it would be a disappointing venue.

As for the UK, someone can't do the stadiums in London and Manchester, then do smaller arena's around the country. the reason she could do three stadiums and like 130000 tickets was because the rest of the country came down to london if they wanted to see her. She would have to do only arenas for UK if she was to go everywhere and sell out like 6 or 7 O2 arenas in london alone otherwise she wont look like a touring powerhouse which is what she needs right now, because she isn't like One Direction who are doing 11 stadium shows in the UK. i think the only way she can go everywhere is to do like one Twickenham and a Manchester stadium, leave and then come back at the end of the European leg and do all the arenas, because it would be like "Oh wow, she has already played for like 65000 people in two stadium shows and now she has like played for like 100,000 more people in arenas all around the country" rather than it be like "last time she had 3 sold out stadium shows but now has to play arena's 1/3 the size" if you get me

So, I made this MONTHS ago when we all overestimated ARTPOP and it's success.. If you see some gaps it's because it will most likely be a second date for that event.

I love that you included Greece in the list. Here every major international artist gathers at least 30.000 people. Even Lana Del Rey gathered 20.000 people!

Here are mine: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1xjSLIyjQ0HTjJ0ai1hWHVYLVE/edit?usp=sharing

it is a big tour, something i think that would only be possible after ARTPOP 2.0, with some good promo

I originally made most of this tour before ARTPOP was released, which was this version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1xjSLIyjQ0HSWhTU3ZNUUlOSmc/edit?usp=sharing

but I made a few minor changes.

Yeah, I'm thinking that I may substitute the Adelaide date for another one in Perth. I'm sure enough people will want to go to a second date there. Even if she only fills less than half the place, it'll still go on record as sold out.

Yes, everyone in the country went to these places to see her, but there were lots who couldn't because of restrictions. If there was a concert nearby, they would have gone to it. She missed out on so much money because she only did the midlands and the south. Doing a mix of stadiums and arenas in the country does make her look like a touring powerhouse. A venue is a venue. I've never understood why, particularly, in Australia, the fashion is to do never-ending arena legs. Pink could make her tours so much quicker if she just did stadiums in Australia. I don't understand why someone would want to do so many arena gigs in the same cities. There's the argument that doing tons of arenas looks more impressive than just doing a handful of stadiums. Well, in my opinion, that's nonsense. Stadiums accomodate far more people, so doing several of them in one country looks far more impressive. While doing 4-5 arena dates are the equivalent of one stadium, it doesn't look as impressive in my eyes - just unnecessary. I think it would be a bad idea to leave the UK and come back near the end to do more shows. Everyone will be thinking that those two stadium gigs were all they were getting and go to them. By the time she announces more arena dates later in the year, the public will have moved on, the fans will be out of money (because they spent it all on going to Manchester and/or London as well as tickets and accomodation) and some younger fans might not be allowed to go a second time by their parents. I also think getting all her dates over and done with quickly in the UK will make people hungry for her to come back on her next tour. Just like you told me, if I trusted you about Australia, you'll trust me about the UK.

The thing with long arena dates in Australia i that people see atleast have of the shows in a city, ie. one person will go to 3 out of four shows in sydney, which is why they do lots in a city. Pink could've done stadium shows here but only one in each city, 5 stadium only shows with maybe 200,000 tickets at best doesn't sound as good as 46 arena shows with 593817 tickets (235000 just for melbourne) sounds, looks and money wise is heaps more impressive. Besides, Australia is far away from most concertish countries, pink had to charter a 747 jet just to bring everything over, so they need to be able to make money back after transporting everything (I'm researching it, and it costs a lot)

The UK on the other hand, i believe a mix of stadium and arena shows are the way to go, but either way you look at it, people are either going to all go for the stadium shows and the arena ones not be very succesful, or everyone goes for arena shows and another gets added and then a stadium won't be filled and becomes less impressive. The only way i think she could be successful would be to just do a separate UK leg (like Pink in Australia) and keep adding more and more dates until it is absolutely done, but if lots of arenas get done, there is a chance to break something again which would be disastrous.

If one London and a Manchester stadium date were announced, along with "more dates across the UK later in the tour" marketed in a fashion like that, so all the London and Manchester people get tickets for the stadiums everyone else can then wait for arena dates or if the demand isn't there, add another London date or be done and move to the next country

Yes, it's that time again where we post our tour schedule to make us feel like we're the tour planners/promoters. As the announcement is coming next month, most likely, we won't have fun with this much longer, so you have to make yours soon!

Here's mine. I included a good mix of arenas and stadiums and have put the estimated concert capacity beside each one. If she's really popular in one area, she gets stadiums, less popular, she gets arenas, which is how I think it should work (except for one country because there's literally nowhere else she could do the show except this huge area as the biggest arena's too small). Considering how much of a disaster the BTWB was in eastern Europe and some parts of Latin America, I'm not being as ambitious with the venues. I'd rather she played smaller venues and sold them out 100% as opposed to filling less than half a stadium. However, I have placed a standard on the venues: no venue less than 13,000. I think it's important that her smallest venues capacity increases with every tour. I also paid no attention to her situation with potentially being cancelled in some countries like Indonesia. Providing she's allowed everywhere, this is my vision:

Let me know what you think. I hope I haven't been too delusional with the dates. Some places were also very hard to judge because the biggest arena was too small and the smallest stadium was too big, so I had to go either way or find a park.

EDIT: Australia's, Hong Kong's and Estonia's dates have been altered after extended research.

* means hell no!

What's wrong with those ones? Maybe only the California one but what about the rest is wrong?
