Freud 6,076
Hey my french, german, spanish, polish and italian Monsters, Arte released a new & interesting 50min documentary of Lady Gaga with some insights of people that worked with her. The german Designer of Gaga's "Gimp of the Garden" look, as well as the designer from her "LED Enigma look" share new insights. Apart from that, this documentary really shows how political Gaga as an artist is, and really depicts her as more than just a musician but a full on Artist tha influenced the world and queer community for the better. I hardly recommend to watch it! Unfortunately, the Documentry is only available in french, german, spanish, polish & italian. Enjoy https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/128082-000-A/lady-gaga-my-songs-my-life/ 4 1 1

Unfortunately not right now on their website. Maybe when they upload it on YouTube and automatic subtitles are activated. I'm a bit confused why english subtitles are not there anyway. Maybe you english monsters should harass them with that question

I loved how respectful they were of Gaga as a person and an artist, talking about her personal life & hardships as well as her unmatched artistic intellect in pop culture
Cavadour 2,746
A deeply moving, very human documentary. Gaga—the artist, the avant-gardist, the fighter—at the center of her own world. Ever-changing on the surface, but above all, deeply true to herself: intelligent, emotional, and caring toward those around her, both in her private and public life. Lady Gaga, just the way we love her, now and always. Thanks @Freud for the link ! Late to the party but I got a diamond heart 1
Cavadour 2,746
Just as a heads up, this Arte Gaga doc is part of a wider collection of movies (some available in english or with eng subs) under 'Summer of Disco' series of films. Madonna, Dua Lipa, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Village People... Disco style. In all its glory, with its mix of fans and haters. Birth, death and rebirth of a genre. Translated text from the French description: '50 years after its emergence, ARTE is dedicating an entire ‘Summer of Disco’ to this influential musical genre. Films, documentaries, and concert recordings trace the history of disco as the sound of an era, a space for emancipation, and a global cultural phenomenon—amidst glitter, social change, hedonism, and pop history, whose influence endures to this day.' https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/RC-027976/summer-of/ Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

Cavadour 2,746
If you have a Mac, just get all the films in 1080 with available .srt subs with PullTube. Maybe there's a simlar app on other OSes. jDownloader makes also the job but I couldn't get the sub files. And only in 720. Just copypaste the urls 9 hours ago, NewUsername said: I feel like the people talking about her really get her. ARTE is a renowned TV channel of german/french origin. Great quality programs with original, unreleased, on point or cult content. Great app too.
