But really, the PRISM era is a mess in timing. Roar was timed perfectly, but the album release+Unconditionally wasn't - Unconditionally would've had #1 on iTunes exposure had it been released a week earlier, and it didn't even have a radio deal, album promo was spent on promoting Roar - quite useless. Then the Unconditionally video was timed poorly, with not enough hype. And now they're pulling the plug on Unconditionally and starting with Dark Horse while Unconditionally is just getting started? Dark Horse is a bad third/second single. A song like that does not help sell albums a lot, so we won't have to worry about Katy outselling Gaga album-wise if Gypsy (single #3) becomes a hit.
