Still if it hadn't been chart ineligible it could have had a decent run and maybe a higher peak. Oh well if it takes off in the US it should go back up here too especially if the video is awesome. Plus its views might (a) not be that good this week or (b) be great but only due to her "frontloaded" nature. I mean, people were expecting the Applause video to push the song, break the VEVO record, etc. She should wait. This era is gonna be floppy in execution and sales anyways. The closer it gets its release after the AMA performance, where the interest over the song is expected to boost up, the better. The Holiday season is getting nearer, unless she'd put Santa into the video, a December release of the MV wouldn't increase her chances of getting a higher peak in the HOT 100 chart.
