Sounds fun already, I don't really celebrate Christmas but I love the joyous and unified atmosphere Last year... we did the same thing... it was my first time hosting it without Sammy, but I managed it... We had some rare photos, & a few leaks were donated, and it was also heavy on remixes (some people aren't as remix-nuts as I am and didn't like it. We got 30 seconds of Musicland as they appeared in the middle of Gaga's Much Music 2009 concept demo., on Christmas Day 2012. who KNOWS what will happen this year! this is about the 4th consecutive year I've seen it done on the boards... The first year I joined, in 2010, it was all Sam's doing, he had featurettes of media for each day. Mostly photos, but a few fantastic things like Gaga Lullabies and Gaga violin covers. The final day, someone donated the odd and intruiging 'Monster Concept Demo'. I remember it well, I really enjoyed that one. The oldtimers said it was done in 2009 as well, but no one had or has the threads for it. In 2011, they hired me as a mod, and I was tasked to help Sam run it again. Donations were crazy that year, everyone had something to contribute, and all in all we got about 15 pieces of rare audio, as a community. It was insanity. Everyone was spoiled rotten, and got too 'used' to the idea of 'all christmases are going to be this awesome all the time' , which is of course an impossible standard to uphold. In 2012, Sam stepped down as a mod, and I suddenly had it in my lap to put on. By now, it was a true tradition, everyone knew about it and didn't want to lose it because Sam was gone. I manned it myself, and as you know it didnt do too badly. For 2013, I've tried to balance it between rare cool things (Muppets Gaga HD Film) and classic crowdpleasers (Gaga Printable Ornaments) and collector buffs (Remix Collections).
