I just don't think people should expect a 500K+ debut I expect and want 400k+ but let's not forget that Gaga hasn't been on TV In USA for month or even 2 She Is playing It really smart and safe now, because once she shows up on TV, the Increase will be huge (at least I think so) .. Florida Georgia Line - Here's to the Good Times 11. Eric Church - The Outsiders 12. Blake Shelton - Based On a True Story... (Deluxe Version) 13. Luke Bryan - Crash My Party 17. Little Big Town - Tornado ^ All were performers last night I believe Without them that would put Gaga at 14 hmmmm.,, we shall see if it increases and once they drop. Majority of sales are physical. She's also currently the #53 best selling album on Amazon this year based on pre-orders alone. Without them that would put Gaga at 14 hmmmm.,, we shall see if it increases and once they drop. I think that's where she was last night, so its doing fine. I think people need to relax a little bit lol. It sucked waking up to DWUW in the 50s this morning but we were hit by a triple-whammy of new releases, The Voice songs and the CMA awards, so just give iTunes a few days to stabilize and it will be back in the 20s. I like Interscope's plan to not front-load the sales this time. I would MUCH prefer the sales be drawn out... It's been up for 2 months, 4 promo singles, album leaked? If you wait this long why not wait to Monday? She's also currently the #53 best selling album on Amazon this year based on pre-orders alone. Yes and look how Interesting the promo Is concentrated on Radios and Internet (Youtube etc..) the first days and the only TV appearance confirmed Is SNL (the end of the first week) Maybe they will make more TV appearances the 2nd week ? which will be great also ... The album campaign seems to be focused on the fan interaction as of right now. Seems like they are trying to make all the stans + simple fans purchase the album during the first week. If it's true that she has 100,000 iTunes pre-orders in the bank already then it means she has to pull just 27% of the Born This Way opening week numbers to top 400,000 copies sold, which is not really hard considering the resources she has for promo. It is important for her to go hard next week, because if she sells 400k she'll get way more sh*t for it than Katy selling under 290k. What's new, though? She'll get bashed no matter what.
