The album is so good! This has to be the best pop album released this year. I don't get how anyone could beat it. Probably my favorite Gaga album. I'm so glad to see how well received the songs have been by this fan base.

My track by track review -

Aura - Have loved this song from first listen months ago.. do feel it has kind of lost its passion in the first verse. But its a great intro song to the album. Still love it to bits and feel like after listening to the album version on repeat from now on its going to go back to how it was with me.

Venus - LOVE this song, I'm obsessed. I love the vibe, the chorus completely slays. That chord progression is brilliant. The song has so many layers. It's perfect!

G.U.Y. - Perfect song. I love how different it is but it still works and could slay radio. The synth is incredible, so dark and s-xy. I love the "of this luuuhhuuuvvv". I was totally not expecting the chorus to work like that but it is INCREDIBLE. One of the highlights of the album.

Sexxx Dreams - Love the new elements, its such a cool song, how the two voices work together. I love the new bridge. I was obsessed with this song after iTunes but now I just feel like its overshadowed by the likes of GUY etc. Such a good mix of musical elements to this song, I love the passion.

Jewels n' Drugs - Yeah okay, its not a typical Gaga song. But at this point in the album it kind of fits. Gaga herself said the album is a trip, this track leads into the more narcissistic tracks on the album. It's a bit fun. I feel like it helps open up the album a bit to all these different genres.

MANiCURE - I love the vocals. So powerful. Again, such a different song but it fits so well into the album. Love the new lyrics, adds so much to the song which was kind of basic before. Don't think what everyone is saying about it having single potential is right though.

Do What U Want - I love this song, it's so soulful, you can tell it comes from Gaga's heart. The passion is so raw. I love that she has elements of sound in this song that kind of give it that pop effect over what is really an RnB track. Wouldn't have picked it as a single though tbh.

ARTPOP - Flawless track, it really represents the album well. I love that its so airy, the lyrics are so perfect. "a hybrid can withstand these things, my heart can beat with bricks and strings" probably one of the best lyrics on the whole album.

Swine - Expected a bit more of a punch from the intro of this song, it kinda goes straight into it. Once the song gets started its great though. I ****ing LOVE the synths in the second chorus, "SWIIIIIINE" just punches you with every beat.

Donatella - Another highlight of the album, from the witty lyrics to the beats. I love the chorus, its so in your face. Personal favorite part of the song is the VOODOO VOODOO VOO DA LA LA!! Such a ****ing brilliant chorus, like in Venus and Gaga's other classics ie. Bad Romance, Judas, it adds that extra element from the main chorus.

Fashion! - Not huge on this song, probably one of my least favorites, but the piano slays. It definitely adds a nice balance after two songs which are very EDM heavy. Again love the post-chorus, its a very "ARTPOP" song, would love to hear it acoustic.

Mary Jane Holland - There are no words for this song. It's just perfect. I didn't listen to the snippet so the first time I heard this, I couldn't even deal. I love the bridge, it's just so great. This song to me defines the album. So dark, so pop, every beat is like a punch. This is the best song on the album!

Dope - Not sure what she was trying to achieve here, Maybe if I knew I would have liked it more. I feel like this song was a waste of track. It kind of makes me sad as we know this song almost didn't make this album - would have loved to here a better fitting track here instead. Although it has great vocals, isn't overproduced like some ballads can be. I feel like its kind of lost its special element as it was a fan song. And it's "born this way" lyric is gone. Overall not a great track, probably the low point of the album.

Gypsy - This is TEOG 2.0 obviously.. GP would eat this song up. I love the end of the song, such an anthem. Not my fave personally, but I can see why people are going insane over it (personally I never loved TEOG that much either..) but I definitely don't have any criticisms.

Applause - This is such a fun track, I am still in love with it. It's such a good ending to the album.

My picks for singles:

SINGLE 3: GYPSY

SINGLE 4: G.U.Y

SINGLE 5: AURA

Is a great album, i don't see any problem with it.  I hope it can have the same or better critical response that BTW had.

Just listened from top to bottom. Definitely a journey. Each song has a life of it's own.

Need a second listen through to really digest the music.

Dope wasn't the song fighting for that spot on the album, it was Mary Jane Holland fighting for spot #12
