I never said DWUW or Applause songs were a mess, Venus song sounds a mess. LOL. Gaga is KNOWN and PRAISED for being weird and nonsense, everyone was jamming like crazy to lyrics like "i wanna take a ride on your disco stick", "pa-pa-pa-poker face", "rama-ramamamama gaga oh-lala", "walk walk fashion baby, work it move that b---h crazy" some years ago. She's still dat girl. I don't see any problem. But yeah, despite of all that, DWUW will slay. I think it's a good choice for 2nd single, even though Venus snippet has slayed me like no other stuff from ARTPOP till now. Seriosuly what is wrong with you people? Interscope made the right decision. I hope Venus gets scrapped all together. Its awful. And 40 seconds is plenty time enough to recognize that its awful! Ive loved all these snippets so far but this one is just lousy. Those lyrics! Stop with these awful forced unrelatable nonsense weird stupid lyrics. The radio would have ignored this song more than Judas. Also as fans of GaGa we are allowed to NOT like a song (GASP) You all kween out for every little thing she does. Relax yaselves. All that being said, I love DWYW and i think radio and the GP will as well. Give it some time to entrench itself. In the meantime Applause is still going strong which is what you want your lead single to do as the album release approaches. Its on power rotation here in New York City on 3 stations! I cant put on the radio for 10 minutes without hearing it! PAWS UP! Nothings wrong with us for liking any song off ARTPOP. In fact, Im pretty sure she would want us to fall head over heels for ALL the tracks. She worked hard for all the songs on this album, and she could just not give us anything and scratch ARTPOP all together. DWYW and Venus are both good songs, and none of us know how radio would have treated the song. And the lyrics cant be THAT awful, otherwise it wouldnt be perched perfectly fine and unbothered as track #2 (it is 2 isnt it ) Although Im fine with DWYW as a 2nd single too lol, just not here for any ARTPOP shade bby And besides, Sailor Venus disagrees Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
