Anyways, people are creaming their pants over Venus at the listening party. If we know why DWUW shot straight to number one on iTunes, they sure as hell know why. There's clearly another reason, and all we can do is speculate until we see things unfold. But songs like Gypsy make me realize what a true artist she is, and makes all the #1s irrelevant ARTPOP is looking to be her best album so far. This comment->@dustin, I feel the same way. Gaga’s midrange may take on a similar tone to Xtina’s at times…but in sum it sounds FAR healthier and better supported. Xtina often sounds like she’s deepthroating a chainsaw…Yes that is how I feel about Christina. I think she doesn't use her voice very well and when she sings it's just annoying to me. GAGA knows how to use her voice so much better... and I'd say if she was going to sound like anybody it would be mid-90's Mariah as another commenter pointed out.
