With all of the hype surrounding it and the massive radio updates + video views, you'd think it'd be more stable than that. Guess not. For a while Miley's antics were the big water-cooler discussion trend, but those trends tend to die pretty fast once everyone feels they've weighed in and had their fun. Soon it becomes almost universally uncool to still be talking about one of those trends after its had its moment- like who still cares about Charlie Sheen's "winning" rant, that Kony 2012 video, the Harlem Shake, Gagnam Style, or whatever? It might be incredible but releasing a RnB song after Applause for Gaga might be a better move. Gaga gets multi-format airplay, reach another audience but still get pop. Venus can wait !
