BB compares radio songs from today with songs from 6 years before so i think it is fair to compare them... Youre right for some extent. But You and I peaked much higher on HAC and AC. The problem was that it peaked on POP too soon, so it's AI peak wasn't as spectacular as Applause's. Later it became a hit on Adult formats, which Applause has failed to do yet. As long as she has decent promo around first week, ARTPOP will be fine. Applause hasn't exactly been the huge smash we hoped for but it will get 100m on radio and therefore has done its job well enough. I feel like Applause started to make its turn around when you started heavily promoting them here. Mmm.. Maybe. I hope her next single doesn't have so many hiccups though with radio. lol. I'd like to think radio just needed a single to warm up to her again (Applause) and that her later singles will surge without much fan rallying. Whatever the next single is will probs have the most promo of the era. UK x factor, italy x factor, US SNL, US the voice/x factor probs..
