If the account is US based they also apply the First Amendment to the account. And bc of the constitution you can say racist, transphobic and hateful rhetoric. Because hate speech is protected in the US and doesn’t get action taken against it UNLESS it incites violence, but, even then you have to have PROOF that it incited violence. It’s how Trump gets away with inciting January 6th, because, nobody has outrightly said they did it BECAUSE he said so. Also, Twitter/X has to abide by LOCAL law. So if they’re in a country where hate speech is also protected or not covered, they can get away with it. Also, X is ran by right wing people now anyway. We have to hope they comment something truly offensive directly towards someone, so x will actually suspend their account.
