"Applause" will fall for the first time in its history on German charts this week.

Currently, I don't know the position, but it's not Top 5 anymore:

Singles Chart Update

01 (01) Avicii

02 (03) Katy Perry

03 (02) Naughty Boy

04 (06) Ellie Goulding

05 (10) Olly Murs

07 (09) Stromae

I guess she's #6 then - i.e. 3rd week Top 10 :)

Download update from right now:

iTunes #9

Amazon #7

Musicload #9

I think a 4th week Top 10 is for sure (probably a 5th as well), but atm I don't think she can hold #6. On Friday the physical CD will be released, but I have no idea which influence this can have.

I can now confirm that "Applause" drops 5-6 this week in Germany. So we have a third week Top 10, fourth week Top 20! :)

She has way more airplay this week than last wek (most current position is #4), so I think it's pretty safe that she'll spend AT LEAST one or two more weeks in the Top 10.

SINGLE TOP 100 (TURNOVER = SALES x PRICE).

Chart run: 18-5-5-6

Peak: #5 (2 weeks)

Weeks on chart: 4

Weeks Top 10: 3

Weeks Top 5: 2

001. Avicii - Wake Me Up
002. Katy Perry - Roar
003. Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La
004. Ellie Goulding - Burn
005. Olly Murs - Dear Darlin'
006. Lady Gaga - Applause
007. Stromae - Papaoutai
008. John Newman - Love Me Again
009. Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines
010. Revolverheld - Das kann uns keiner nehmen
011. Flo Rida feat. Pitbull - Can’t Believe It
012. Eminem - Berzerk
013. Cro - Whatever
014. Onerepublic - Counting Stars
015. Sean Paul - Other Side Of Love
016. Klangkarussell feat. Will Heard - Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)
017. Martin Garrix - Animals
018. Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky
019. Bastille - Pompeii
020. Casper - Im Ascheregen

Current download charts of largest shops:

iTunes #9 (€ 1,29)

Amazon #5 (€ 0,99)

musicload #8 (€ 1,49)

Hard to beat Olly Murs for #5 next week, since he charts higher than "Applause" in the expensive shops. She could probably fall to #7, since John Newman also charts higher in expensive shops. However, #7 should be safe (AT THE MOMENT!), because Stromae is discounted.

I was very busy in 2011, so I didn't collect all the data, but I did it now, since I love statistics and am happy to assist you :)

Born This Way #1 (album)

certification: 1 x Platinum (200.000+ sales, Gold on first day (!) of its release)

chart run: 1-2-5-2-5-6-5-4-5-10-12-... (10 weeks Top 10, 38 weeks total)

year-end 2011: #17 (same as single)

Born This Way #1 (single)

certification: 1 x Gold (150.000+ sales)

chart run: 2-6-5-1-1-2-2-4-8-8-12-16-21-27-17-21... (10 weeks Top 10, 29 weeks total)

year-end 2011: #17 (same as album)

airplay: #2

airplay year-end 2011: #23

Judas #23

...in its first week, the same week when TEOG charted new at #28!

A top-10-entry was estimated according to download charts. However, #23 was the first week that she was registiered to the single charts (probably her second actual week). Registration rules were changed during "Judas" release, perhaps the label messed that up?

(9 weeks total)

airplay: #29

The Edge of Glory #3

chart run: 28-43-49-37-7-7-6-6-3-4-5-7-6-6-11-13-19-27... (10 weeks Top 10, 34 weeks total)

year-end 2011: #27

airplay: #1 (!)

airplay year-end 2011: #15

Yoü & I #21

airplay: #3 (!)

(9 weeks total)

Marry The Night #17

chart run: 23-17-18-19-23... (17 weeks total)

airplay: #3 (!)

Amazing to see how loyal German radio stayed for Gaga.
