Not at all, I saw her in Paris a few days ago and she was already sick and losing her voice. I'm surprised she managed to do more shows after that tbh, she was really struggling during the encore. He then said something that surprised: it will always be a risk, even when you do it well. I hope Ms. Slayyyter is getting vocal training / coaching because she's playing with fire with her style if she rawdogs it. Yeah notoriously anything that requires more guttural and the low-end of your voice can cause it damage. That’s why Adele had to have surgery, because she notoriously always sang in her lower range and barely used her head voice—which is better for your vocals. Which is why Gaga doesn’t do many low-end vocals on songs anymore because it knocked her voice out of whack for a bout around ASIB. It’s also why Ariana was constantly talking in a higher voice during the filming/promo cycle of Wicked, it protected her voice. Gaga used to do it too back in the day. I love that I'm understanding most of what you're saying now because I'm studying this stuff. There's SO much that goes into all, and it all comes down to flexing (or, not flexing) tiny little muscles with giant names lol 1

Which sounds like a whisper but isn’t because it’s clearer in tone but because it’s technically a nasal thing you lose some enunciation. A good example is the “whispers” in Hair Body Face or the backing vocals of the bridge in Born This Way “dont be a drag just be a queen” for example. StrawberryBlond 15,769 Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM I really hope my November 1st show will be ok. She might be on vocal rest for a while. And I hope she finds a way to reschedule those dates seeing as she may be extending the tour anyway. I fear her vocals are untrained and that's what's causing this with the borderline screamo stuff she does at times. I'm sure smoking doesn't help either. She needs to take good care of her great voice. Burning out when she's just blown up would be a sad thing.
