Liam Germanotta 3
"Applause" falls from #6 to #9, but saves its fourth week Top 10 and fifth week Top 20 on German chart. A fifth week Top 10 is realistic, currently she is in the Top 10 of four of the five most popular download portals. Additionally, she should profit (at least a bit) from physical sales. Liam Germanotta 3
"Applause" is the best selling physical single of the week and therefore goes up to #8 on the German single charts! Physical sales are a major influence in Germany, since they cost more than downloads and the single charts are ranked as of revenue. Further, CDs are still popular in Germany. Liam Germanotta 3
Ok thanks. But how come this guy posted sales in the OP : http://gagadaily.com/index.php?showtopic=59574 Those are only iTunes :) And I am not even sure if those aren't only estimations either... Edit: And iTunes is only the fourth-largest download market in Germany. However it has influence since its prizes are higher and German charts are made up of revenue. GERMANY* (...) *Only on iTunes.
