Also she can make more radio interviews for radio support etc. Gaga was never a radio artist and she still gains positive updates on radio, they are small but they are positive and steady. I mean, unless Applause suddenly turns around and becomes MASSIVE, ARTPOP's initial sales won't be as good as they should if there isn't an October hit single. I like the video but I expected more. It's my problem that I am expecting more but for example I'd never expect much from Katy or Rihanna which means that I am expecting a lot from Gaga with a reason .. and the reason is her whole career. Yall know very well that Applause video is not Gaga at her best, neither is the song .. and that is not really a problem.. I think that Interscope are building Gaga's popularity again and people like her again.. that's why I said she is going to need something really big for the 2nd single . I mean, unless Applause suddenly turns around and becomes MASSIVE, ARTPOP's initial sales won't be as good as they should if there isn't an October hit single. People seems to forget that she also needs to sell some albums and with Applause only she wont have a big opening sale start. I understand that some people want longevity, but almost every major star puts the second single out after a month and a half / max 2 month before the first single.
