Well you need to stop. It gets ridiculous, it's a thread, we are here to talk about charts performance. I love the idea of the Chartflop thread and I agree it was out of control few weeks ago but you just cannot close a thread everytime someone get anxious. I think the thread is perfect now as it is, but that doesn't mean we will all stop worrying and post some negative comments once in a while. And the mods reaction was even worst than the actual user comment so that speaks for itself. Is the commercial airing on TV or it was just for the vmas ? Wow. You took the words right out of my mouth. :clap: Dedicated users will start leaving this site if its constantly closed. It would be a shame if the active user count goes down because of over-zealous mods. I guess some people lack control in their own life, and they can use control on this site to feel powerful. Please post suggestions in the suggestion thread here: http://gagadaily.com/index.php?showtopic=26663 We aren't saying you guys can't discuss the ups AND downs of chart positions, but the bitter negativity and lack of respect for the artist and the art has to stop. You can't be calling anything that sells well enough to pay for Gaga's work a "flop". (See Gaga's comments on this here: http://gagadaily.com/index.php?showtopic=59663) Perhaps closing the thread is not the best solution, and we should just give more warnings to people who are being excessive. We've also discussed the option of banning individual people from a thread without banning them from the site. In the coming weeks, I promise we'll work harder to keep this thread clean (warnings, hide posts, etc) and try not to close it unless absolutely necessary. Please continue to provide us feedback and ideas, because really you guys are what makes the site great, not the mods! There should be freedom of speech within GGD, so long as it isn't a direct attack on anyone. Also, given the stan lingo that's prevalent on here, I think it' safe to say that almost every post that uses the words "flop" or "iconic" should be taken with a grain of salt, lol.
