In terms of numbers on iTunes. Wrecking Ball is falling Applause is steady, Blurred lines is inching closer to Applause etc.

most likely WB will drop below applause while BL goes above it. Stay at #4 forever

WB is projected to sell 175-200k according to Billboard. That means Applause could sell maybe 5-10k more than last week.

That's what i'm thinking but it keeps rising. I feel there will be a short gap inbetween Wrecking Ball falls and Blurred Lines rises and Applause will go back to #4

So Applause is very stable and that is very good. I think if it can remain at the top 5 until the return of Gaga in US it will go very well. I guess she will go to a couple of shows like night shows etc. But anyway, I think it is not as bad as some were expecting. I think she will peak at #3 at BB Hot 100.

Still hoping for at least a #2 peak, if ever radio would decide to fully embrace it. I think that I'm still on the process of accepting the fact that Applause would most likely end her streak of chart-topping lead singles from her full length studio albums. Though a top five is admirable, it's still regrettable for a lead single, at least for me. But the fact that songs like Rihanna's Diamonds was able to climb the summit of the HOT 100 chart by around almost two months since its release fuels me more hope for Applause than I should have.

And they weren't even the stars of the show :excited2:

Miley and Gaga's performances will boost their first week sales a lot :excited:

Where's AP on itunes tho? Last time i check UJ was at number 9.

If AP is higher than that then you must be right. :)

Yes, I totally agree with you! Being in the TOP 5 on HOT 100 is already a success (+ the competition is so hard right now) but it is her LEAD single so I can't say I didn't expect more, because I did!

I hope it can grow on more people, and the biggest problem right now are the radios because they are not helping her at all... That is true about Rihanna, and I hope it will be the same case with Gaga, but it's impossible without airplay  :ohno:
