ThisGuyTony 30,413
I have some money left on my iTunes card. I might buy "American Girl". Definitely buying "We Can't Stop" (kind of grew on me). And might buy that One Direction song in hopes that it rises and knocks "Blurred Lines" down. Hopefully buying Stars Dance tomorrow.

nick4bty 2,758
I can't at ya'll treating Robin Thicke like he's some kind of pop music powerhouse. In his decade-long career, he's managed to have one big hit - Blurred Lines. People caught on to the song, not him. Anyone could've sang that song (and I'm using the term "sang" loosely) and it could've been a hit. At the same time, it was released at the perfect time, where there was a huge void in pop music. No "song of the summer" was emerging, and BL came by and people/radio clung onto it, and it became the song of the summer. When Gaga comes back, people will surely be more interested in her than Robin Thicke.

Dangerous Man 9,245
Not if Robin Thicke performs at the VMAs too. He's definitely winning the Video of the Year award. Why are people so obsessed with that song. Just because Robin has a big D? But I guess no one can over-shadow Gaga on the VMAs. She's the biggest performer of the night. :trootea: I have some money left on my iTunes card. I might buy "American Girl". Definitely buying "We Can't Stop" (kind of grew on me). And might buy that One Direction song in hopes that it rises and knocks "Blurred Lines" down. Hopefully buying Stars Dance tomorrow. You can buy DEMI also.
