Klou 2,414
Miley will probably be c***blocked by Blurred Lines from going #1. That's fine with me
BROSEIDON 1,214
Her YouTube views are massive this week. And she's been climbing back up iTunes. I'm expecting a big jump
Fizzy 2,192
Pop Songs: 2) Selena Gomez - Come & Get It NEXT WEEK is her only chance to get her first #1 on Pop Songs. Let's wait and watch. She will join the trinity of each of the three Disney Stars having a #1 on Pop Songs. I am so scared.. “The scars on my mind are on Replay”

Pop Art 1,773
I'm sorry, but after watching Selena struggle to sing a song as moderate as Come & Get It on numerous occasions, I find myself almost hoping it doesn't do any better than it already has. I'm happy it's done so well, but I just don't think she's all too deserving of having further success with the song. Just my two cents. To elaborate some, I think my overall problem with the song is that it lacks soul in my opinion. It's incredibly catchy, but it just doesn't seem like Selena even cares about it, as shown greatly in her lack of enthusiasm in nearly all of it's live performances. Aren't performances supposed to attract potential song buyers? With the types of lackluster performances Selena has given, I wouldn't be surprised if she actually turned away many of these people. Maybe I'm just seeing it the wrong way, but that's my honest opinion. Edited June 25, 2013 by The Night
Envi 765
the gp is tired of EDM (with an exception of Gentleman by King Psy obviously). a r&b song like blurred lines shows how unique and fresh sound is a key for slayage. this reminds of how adele's rolling in the deep came into the scene and slayed all these generic pop songs. such a clever move. We need to hand out some reality goggles.
Aciid 0
Yeah, I personally don't like EDM anymore I'm tired of it. And you can clearly tell from this year that the general public isn't here for it either. I sometimes worry about the music Gaga might be making, but it's always innovative so I try not to over think it.
Phlop 4,773
I'm not here for r&b coming back. Keep that in the mid 2000s. BYE

Aciid 0
I don't think he was saying that R&B is going to take over, it was just an example like Rolling in the Deep. Blurred Lines is not similar to the r&b played back then anyways. The sound on radio and this years bigger hits are not dance music. You can even tell from last year, at songs like STIUTK, Call me Maybe, We are Young, the Maroon 5 singles etc.
AURA 2,890
I'm not here for a RnB comeback either. The pop girls must come as soon as possible and revive the music scene - we had enough boring, ****ty music in 2012-2013. Y'all can judge me Edited June 25, 2013 by Renegade
nick4bty 2,758
Last year was a more pop-rock sound, this year is more R&B . . . it does make me worried for Gaga.
