This song / video ( Same love) made me curious about the others songs that are on the charts right now. I tried to listen some of them but they were awful, including Cant hold us. Ellie Goulding) Before the song charted I predicted it would be top 20 at best and it's looking like that may be true. Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us are two of the best songs this year. They are incredibly fresh for the charts, especially after the boringness of 2012. Macklemore is the next big thing imo. Also, for somebody who just listened the songs, Wanz and Ryan Dalton seems to make a better impression than the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. I remmeber that a lot of people said that the album is so 80s then. Now there are a lot more songs / artists that seems from the 80s. Gaga again pave the way for others.
