How did she supposedly start from the bottom when she was already getting TV exposure before her debut?

After she dropped out she still had to start from square one?

I'm not an expert but she probably had made connections even if she had already dropped out. This same year she did that audiobook with Melle Mei. Gaga would start working with Rob Fusari in 2006

How is singing in a parade not starting from the bottom? They didn’t air it just because of her, there were other performers, most of whom were local talent. She also performed as Stefani Germanotta, so there was no official debut

she literally had the Rob Fusari connection thanks to her performing in a minor singer songwriter talent sort of show in NY, there talent scout Wendy Starland noticed her as Fusari was looking for a female singer fora rock band. she had no connections to the music industry, she got them by putting herself out there and being in the right place at the right time.

Those excessive vocal runs are not it  Still, her future potential was obvious even back then
