REALITY 80,246 Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:13 PM I think TFM has more instantly iconic videos, but I’ve always preferred the BTW ones. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢.
shape of a rvfzme 1,932 Posted yesterday at 03:33 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:33 PM Both are amazing, but TFM has something powerful and solid about it. It’s not that I don’t like BTW. Perhaps it’s because I found it less to my taste - though I did grow to like album more after a few years.
AVeryGagaHolyDick 32,261 Posted yesterday at 03:35 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:35 PM The Born This Way ones are severely underrated. Yoü And I is undeniably one of her best, and tbh, The Edge Of Glory too. Judas is obviously great too but we all know that. Born This Way’s intro is wonderful but it gets meh when the song starts. Marry The Night is powerful and poetic but it’s messy as phuck. The Fame Monster’s are all really good. While Alejandro is overrated by this fanbase and Telephone is messy (not half as much as MTN though), the latter and Bad Romance are two of the most iconic videos in pop history. It kinda hurts, but I have to go with The Fame Monster.

nATAH 57,897 Posted yesterday at 04:10 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:10 PM telephone is messy and overstuffed, way too many ideas and too much product placement the only downside of the BTW videos is TEOG due to it being a bit one note due to production going all wrong at last minute mother, what must i do? Controversiaga 17,035 Posted yesterday at 04:36 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:36 PM TFM alejandro and bad romance alone are better than all the MV from BTW Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”
Lord Axel 938 Posted yesterday at 04:48 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:48 PM Judas is an artistic masterpiece imo but nothing can beat the trilogy of TFM ʟɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱɪʟᴠᴇʀ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ϟ†▽✰𝒿 ~Ɐ
Biagio2103 6,715 Posted yesterday at 05:05 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:05 PM (edited) TFM has more production value and feels more "polished" given the fact that they were all directed by professional directors, but they also have more "generic" storytelling. BTW on the other hand is more raw and experimental, but they are several aspects that need to be improved, I also feel they were eaten by their own ambition and thus do not fully reach it. I sort of feel this was also the case for the ARTPOP videos, while Joanne lacks budget but also the artistic direction. With Chromatica, Gaga started to have a better idea of which direction she wanted for her mv, and I feel she finally accomplished it with Mayhem and realized her mv were part of a bigger narrative (the entire album cycle, including the tour), rather than a one-off experience. I'm looking forward to see what she comes up with for the next era. Short question for this thread: TFM Edited yesterday at 05:07 PM by Biagio2103 I'm only good at being bad
