Apparently Netanyahu knew about 7th October attack a week before, President bin Zayed of the Emirates called him and they talked 45 minutes about the attack.. so if he knew and did nothing about it, he had the plan to start these wars all over the region and use 7th October as the turning point...

I totally agree with the assessment that Trump will be the last zionist president. Regardless of which party wins in 28 they'll face immense political pressure to either be isolationist and "America First" or to stop funding the genocide by making aide conditional.

Hell, after Democrats take the house this year and the new congress is seating next year, Jefferies (the Dem leader atm) is gonna face an uphill battle to retain his speaker position just because so many new representatives will have been given incentive to challenge him on his pro-Israel hawkish behavior.

Slowly but surely the time of America being Israel's bestie and bodyguard is closing. Americans have already abandoned it, our institutions just need to catch up which will take a few cycles.

I changed it because my presumption was perhaps there was a Zionist mod (idk I’m not online all the time in politics threads, maybe there is idk), then I changed it to be about that user because I realised that’s probably more what we were on about. I believe that even Trump gave up, Netanyahu promised him to 'make history' just to end up losing to Iran.

What bothers me is that only the left-wing candidate of Israel is talking in favor of a Palestinian country while the rest of the candidates are still having the same mindset of Netanyahu, so makes me wonder, what is their long term solution? where is the change? the alternative?

The international pressure should be much stronger now, but as we can see only 11 countries condemned Israel.. I hope that more countries will join in the next days though.

It's funny because they mostly speak about Israel like this in a Christian and spiritual way, the whole holy land thing... but when they visit Israel for this spiritual trip, the highlight of the trip is actually at the West Bank at the Church of the Nativity

I think the hesitation to condemn is two-fold.

1) The US clearly still has a toxic relationship with Israel and a lot of the world still relies on the American economy and military, they don't wanna piss off the US. Further evidence of this is how Trump can spit in our allies' faces and they basically thank him for it  

2) Israel's intelligence really has rooted its way deep into every country, including the US, to the point that Israeli lobbies have been able to practically end presidencies when a US president does something they don't like. They have massively disproportionate power, influence, and ability to harm politicians. The only thing that can protect politicians from Israeli lobbies is a massive shift in public opinion, which is what we're seeing now.

Either Israel gets its sh*t together before the US has enough time to back out or it'll end up a rogue and isolated state teetering on internal collapse.
