Its believed their traditional diet is very healthy for cardiovascular health and also in pockets of the country with exeptionally high rates of longevity there are cultural norms of close family bonds and close ties of friendship which some say (but difficult to scientifically quantify) also promotes long life Im not sure if theres much if any evidence that one race has a genetic advantage over another for longevity or not.
