I left twitter after Elon bought it, I don't know if I want an equivalent of twitter anymore so I get why people reject it.

No shade but no way Elon doesnt sue for copyright infringement but then again...he changed the app to "X" so technically its not the original blue bird Twitter we remember. 

Idk...they've tried like 2 or 3 different "Twitter alternatives" like Blue Sky...Threads...etc but none have landed

He's the one who infringed on the Twitter IP, not to mention the IPs of several other companies. He hasn't created anything, therefore he can't claim ownership of any actually IPs other people came up with. SpaceX and Tesla were also the original ideas of other people, he just used his blood money to acquire the companies.

Verification will only exist for official sources and official public figure/celebrity accounts like old-school Twitter used to have. Regular users won’t be able to buy verification and posts won’t be monetised.

Well this sounds ****ing horrible. AI notoriously gives false information and now they won't let you post unless the AI says reads your content, steals your data for it's own training and decides whether or not it thinks your **** is accurate? Just when I thought Twitter couldn't get worse...

Insta is useless. (But I have it, except that I don’t want to interact a lot with that. It’s more for the friends)

The only one I kind of like is Reddit but that feels more like a forum rather than the usual social media format
